Do you really think the Feds have enough to indict Fastow and some of the lesser lights but NOT Skilling and Lay?

My guess is that it has been hands off Skilling to this point because Skilling would likely lead to Lay and (politically) they DON'T WANT LAY because of the uncomfortable direct connections to our dearly beloved President.

Isn't it more convenient to say "Fastow was the villain" and throw the book at him, give him 10 years and parole him at
3 years and have him spend $10 mil or so of his money on
innercity kids, then have him return to the business world as a reformed hero a little bit later?
