We'll agree to disagree. :)

Enron and others preached "free markets" as being what they wanted to use to lower California's electrical costs. They were flat out liars. The politicians sold out the public. They were bribed. Public input was never allowed in the development of AB 1890, the enabling legislation.

It gets down to a question of what am I to believe, you or my own eyes. I prefer my own eyes. For the most part, those who preach "free markets" appear to be crooks who want to eliminate well considered regulations in order to make their crimes and unethical behavior unindictable. Metaphors about sheep and wolves notwithstanding.
