I am using Zone Alarm now, the free version. There are several boxes to check if you enable the XP firewall to allow different levels of access. that is what confused me. Is it okay to run both XP and ZA? Is that like a lock and a dead-bolt? Does the XP firewall block out anything that i would want to have access. I know these are simplistic questions to the more experienced guys, but these are the questions i have. again. thanks. larry
