Starting September 1, 1997 and continuing for three months, CIDCO will launch a direct marketing program to customers of SBC Communications, the parent company of Southwestern Bell and Pacific Bell. CIDCO will manage an extensive direct marketing program to encourage customers to try Caller ID, offering them free devices, service activation and support. This will be the largest company-wide Caller ID marketing program either company has ever launched.
