The last thing an Arms maker wants is peace in the world. As perverse as it may seem, it is reality.

This type of perverse mentality isn't limited to just Arms makers. Do you really think your city or state want you to respect the driving bylaws? Ever hear of cops having ticket quotas? Or, do you really believe governments wants consumers to stop smoking? They rely on your dependency for raking billions of dollars on cigarette taxes. They bilk you for most of your life, until suddenly you get cancer and croak and then government continues profiting from your early departure by saving on several years of pension payments.

Therefore, what are a few thousand lives lost in battle when governments tolerate thousands more lost to cancer from polution and cigarette smoking.
