mark silvers, I hope it was not me that chastised you. As I recall, you were quite helpful to me when I first started posting on SI under the alias of truedog. I do not "beat up" on the Christians that act like Christians, but when some, basically only two, of the posters here, try to blast every other person because they feel that they own the thread, and blast all others that do not agree with their, radical, puritanical, biased, theories. As a result, the two, aforementioned, posters are usually the only ones that still post here. They have driven off almost all of the moderate, and reasonable, Christians with their tirades. It is just that I do not scare easily, and will contend with those that try to force their views on others.
I truly hope the present conflict is over, and that peace can reign again. Personally, I am open to hear the views of all others, as long as they do not attempt to jam them down my throat. While I, fervently, believe in the supreme being, called God be English speaking people, and the saving grace of Jesus, there are many details, which have been added by human tampering with the Bible, and which I cannot condone. |
