When I lived in Middletown RI, I use horse manure on my garden. Got lots of produce, more than we could eat. Gave away lots of it. Even gave away gallons of strawberries. Picking gallon a day for weeks on end cannot be consumed or even canned or jellied or frozen. And home grown varieties bread for flavor and not shipping qualities is good good stuff.
