3 language errors and numerous punctuation errors.

1) "Buildings cannot just be made functionary." functional

2) "It is a suspended bridge that was designed and built by a British company." Suspension bridge.

3) "I always say this war is about oil. It is."

This statement is not colloquial English. It is an example of the way a foreigner might speak English.

I've always said that this war is about oil." is what one would expect of a person well educated and practiced in English.

Comparing some of the paragraphs I get the feeling that at least two different people wrote the article. Paragraph 7(As May was drawing to a close....) and 10(Something you should know ....) come to mind.
