Palm Beach Gets Fluoride

Readers sometimes ask us what it's like to work and live in America's
most
notorious county. Yes, we're talking about Floriduh's
Democrat-dominated
(and thus hopelessly corrupt) Palm Beach County, which we
semi-affectionately refer to as Pea Brain County in "honor" of the
thousands
of pro-Gore fanatics who claimed to be too stupid to use a
Democrat-designed ballot in a failed scheme to steal the last
presidential
election.

Though humid and crowded with angry retirees from the Northeast, it's
a good
place to live, and most of our leftist friends and acquaintances here
are fine
people despite their woefully uninformed politics.

The latest controversy in Pea Brain County: We're finally doing what
most of
the nation did 50 years ago and getting fluoride in our water.

The pro-fluoridation people say the addition will improve dental
health and
cause no harm. The anti-fluoridation people warn of a host of hazards
ranging
from cancer to gene mutations.

We're not going to get into that argument, but we can see it now: the
2004
election in chaos, with the condo commandos raging that fluoride made
them
too stupid to vote.
