That picture of me on the paint pony, was taken in the summer of 1951, and I was about 16 at the time. I started riding horses at 5 years old, and still love the beautiful, but stupid, animals to this day. Problem is, my knees don't let me do a "swing up" mount anymore, and it would take, at least, a Morgan horse to tote me, if not a Clydesdale. |
