Yes, EP, the communication revolution has already happened. I know an MBA who works at home, much of the day on the phone, many conference calls, or sending emails, frequently flying out to meet clients all over the map, occasionally visiting the company headquarters which actually uses some real estate. Except the latter is located in a small town, deliberately, to save money on rents. Many business trips can be done in a single day using an early flight and a late return flight. So in addition to hotelling we have airplaning. Your conclusion, beware the office building REITS, is surely a fine and true one.
