It gets fixed and cleaned up.

And what will the ANWR, one of the few untouched places left on this planet, look like with a big ole pipe running through it.

It will look like a frozen barren wasteland with a pile line running through it. At least in the small percentage of the area where you could actually see it.

Would you want an oil pipe running through your backyard?

I live in Louisiana, there are lots of pipelines down here.

I agree, but we would still need lots more oil.

So, you think it's OK to have pipelines running through pristine deserts in the Middle East where Arabs live, but not in Alaska where Americans live, sounds kind of hypocritical to me, and maybe even racist.
