On the other hand, if the cause is not just or attainable, it is not just or attainable, and the sacrifice is not merited. The truth cannot be altered for political correctness, or given in order to make worthwhile a cause that does not measure up. It is through denial of reality that gratuitous sacrifices grow in number.
