KT >I just hope we don't find out later that poor ol' Dubya had Alzheimer's too. < I am more inclined to believe that in his heart he believes he is doing the right thing (at least in Iraq), but he is mostly surrounded by borderline scum (other than Powell) that is giving him horrible advice wrapped up in the American flag. Perhaps I was too young or too naive at other times to be as upset and concerned as I am right now about our foreign and domestic economic policy, but I firmly believe we are putting our way of life at risk. I think the odds of a complete financial meltdown are higher now than they have ever been in our history. I also think the odds of a terrorist attack ending my life and the lives of many of my friends and families are WAY higher now than the chances during any prior War (expect perhaps WW2). Worse is that I think both polices are being pursued to advance the agenda of a relatively small group of financial and other political interests - which makes me want to scream bloody murder. OK, I'm done venting now. :-)
