Bush did not lie...
Josh points out, correctly to my eye, that Bush does indeed tell lies, many of them, and not just garden-variety lies, either; Bush's lying is subtle, evasive, gossamer-winged; artful and darn near undetectable until that day when the results become painfully apparent.
Bush lies to advance his ideology, mostly. Josh points out that this is not necessarily a sin until the lies in defense of an agenda cause the liar to lose touch with reality and to ignore expert opinion. At that point, the lies that allowed the ideological action to occur, then become its downfall.
We are now seeing this exact scenario play out; in Iraq, in the economy, in the hunt for WMD.
