I think the system was designed to capture weekly to monthly trends..NOT price shocks.Fear and greed make trends...and always will IMO.If it so happens that price shocks come at the end of trends(a trend as defined by this system)I fail to see how that is a bad thing.I do not see "price shocks" as a big part of the performance of this system...its the trends. The strength of this system as I see it is simply the disciplined mechanical following of all trends...you never know which one will be the big one...but when it comes it more than makes up for the whipsaws.Most people do not have the mental discipline to allow themselves to stay in a long trend for all its worth...this system seems to do that for me.Thats where the payoff is...not hunting for a crash...or a moon shot.
