Kuridish rebels have called off a 4 year cease fire with Turkey- this certainly has implications for the war in Iraq, since the US thinks of Turkey as one of the countries that could contribute more troops if a UN mandate is in place. Nasty coincidence, or good planning on the part of the Kurds. We'll see.
