CALGARY, Sept. 3 /CNW/ - Adding to its exploratory work in Mackelcan
Township, Flag Resources proposes to drill exploratory drill holes 100 feet to
the north, east and west of its CH83-24 vertical drill hole, which intersected
a 262 feet (80 meters) zone of anomalous gold values, from the surface to
262 feet. The mineralized breccia zone averages 3 per cent pyrite and 15
percent quartz - carbonate.
CH83-24 is located 225 feet east of the shaft on Cobalt Hill, Mackelcan
Township, Sudbury, Ontario and is in the area of Flag's Wolf Lake gold -
copper deposit and Jess Lake gold deposit.
