10.26 may be seen someday as the mother of all AMAT buying opportunities. And to think that a certain newsletter writer (not you, Kirk) indicated "they" would only be interested if it got below 10. <g>
Yeah. I, as usual, was early with a first buy at $19.50 last June and my actual absolute bottom target was, from memory, $12.50, but I did get additional shares at $17.50 and $13.00. I sold half the shares I bought at $13 for $19.50 to lock in some nice, 50% gains, but the rest are sitting pretty. -g-

Far, far from perfect and often early but not bad overall. Funny, if I look back, I'd sure like to have those shares back that I sold for a double in 1999!
I think the idea that my system, Cary's and the AIM folks is you try to buy quality when cheap and sell some when high. Cary seems better at getting in and out but I am proud of my results none the less. -g- |
