Ted, However, what he says was a very apt description of the US. And this issue re freedom fries is a big joke!

The "Freedom Fries" bit is harmless fun to most of us. No one is calling anyone a traitor for still referring to those tasty but fatty side dishes as "French Fries." Or referring to a certain breakfast food as "French Toast." Or enjoying a French Kiss every now and then. Or even using borrowed French words like "cafe latte" or "rendezvous" or "chateau."

Depp, like most nationalistic Frenchmen, is taking it personally. If America is as dumb as he thinks it is, perhaps he'd like to share some of his "wisdom" on how to win the war on terrorism from his sheltered French paradise (i.e. free from bombs and suicidal planes).
