Ok thank you. I have now deleted the files. Regarding the definitions they were right up to date this morning when I ran the full system scan. The latest ones are dated 9-2-03. I use the IU update these days after reading so much about it on this board. Yes, I do keep the auto-protect feature enabled. I will try to remember to do a full scan periodically just in case. Thanks
