I mentioned Tye Fields on this thread about two years ago when he was just starting to become popular; at that time, though, he was far less polished than he looked last night.

The Manny Stewart/Kronk influence was apparent last night, as brief, distant flashes of Lennox Lewis could be seen in the jab. Of course, Fields has no amateur record and Sherman "Tank" Williams isn't a top 20 personality in the heavyweights, so there's a long way to go. I certainly think that other big guys in that weight class - Lewis, the Klitschkos, McCline - are far quicker and would have a Field day with him, at this point.
