Bush - big oil, big coal, big defense - excuse me but we did not have energy crises, massive energy gouging, assaults on the environment and wars based on lies during the previous administration. Even the so-called energy shortages during CLinton's last six months turned out to have been a massive hoax played on us by the Bushie energy cabal led by Enron, James Baker, Cheney and others in the Bush camp. This was the greatest ripoff of consumers since the S+L debacle, the last big deregulation scam.
Since Bush grabbed power we have had the highest energy prices in history, increasing pollution on every front, massive energy consumption and waste, more war (some of it unnecessary and reckless) and more terrorism, not less.
The Bushie administration is a re-tread of the old Bectel, Halliburton, Big Oil, Big Defense gang power grab we saw during the latter part of the Cold War. It is all engineered, all deliberate and reeks of high-level cronyism. Much of the trillion in new debt Bush is creating will go into the pockets of the 50 top oil, coal, timber, defense and construction conglomerates which gave the most fo Bush's campaign. Meanwhile, most of the economy sucks wind, and if you're looking for a good-paying job with benefits outside those sectors, good luck. |
