The pres is a servant of the people, not vice-versa, as it is now.

A rather trite phrase...very overused and therefore meaningless.

The only thing 9/11 entitled us to was invade the homeland of the hijackers

Says who?

The President's oath of office does not read that way...The President is sworn to protect us "against all enemies both foreign and domestic".

Their is nothing in that oath that requires us/him to only counterattack.

There are ample and numerous historical precedents for us to attack preemptively. Most of those preemptive attacks were initiated by Democratic Presidents...did you object then?

if you or anyone else wishes to play merc

That comment is an insult to everyone who is or ever served in the US Military.

You are misinformed...your presumptions and desires are in conflict with the oaths of office of both our political leaders and our military members; and with our history.

You may be a pacifist but never forget, your freedom was won on a battlefield.
