GREENLAW, just buy good stocks and hold them <g>. that's what my Dad said this am when I suggested he trim his holdings a little. he said, "I'm not a trader, I don't need to make much just not lose any." well, so far he has been correct. but silly old me feels much like you do, that levels are quite elevated and dangerous. talked to a couple brokers yesterday (not a huge sample), and they said the only new money they have been seeing is when people die and their children inherit. otherwise people are withdrawing ira money to live. good luck, tim
