Kerry has been compared to Abe Lincoln and JFK both. It's the right-wingers who keep bringing up his looks, pretending they're not presidential, calling him "Munster" and the like. Silly stuff. Kerry looks more presidential than any candidate running, by far. It counts for something. Reagan and JFK might never have gotten elected without looking good on TV. It also helped Clinton a lot.
