Ken, come out of your psychotic state of denial for a minute. As you well know, it wasn't just a matter of the French, Germans and Russians being poised to veto a second U.N. resolution that would authorize an invasions of Iraq. The U.S. intended to put that to a vote in order to secure a majority of Security Council's mandate, even if that would not have carried legal weight.

The problem was that they COULD NOT SECURE EVEN A MAJORITY OF THE VOTES. Nations that were our allies, including nations like Mexico, DID NOT SUPPORT THE INVASIONS OF IRAQ UNDER U.N. AUTHORITY.

It was most of the WORLD that thought it was unecessary and ill advised. Face the facts.
