Either way it's pretty clear that Jochen Fischer isn't exactly dancing a jig about sending German troops to Iraq.

Joschka (really Joseph) Fischer :-)

I doubt there will be much support out of that government without some serious pressure, internally and externally.

For the record: the conservative German opposition leader, Angela Merkel, favors German troops in Iraq. Merkel's party is still leading Red-Green in polls by far.
