It's more than luck, It's luck that happens to always fit the plan: (see project for a new american century for the plan). Events can always seem inevitable in hindsite. The luck of the neocons currently seems similar to the practice of a Vegas gambler of doubling down on losing hands with the idea of riding out a streak of bad luck. Each event must be even more urgent than the last to win the attention of the public until they can through a combination of Patriot Act, black box voting machines, and national emergency, cease to worry about elections. Maybe I'm wrong, I hope so, but it's much too important to our future to trust to the good will of Cheney or good judgement of Bush. TP
