The opposite of the Defn of "isolationist" is "interventionist", which pleases parasitic lobbyist constituencies no end.

I have no problem with your Isolationist position per se. I think it is naive today. There is no way the American people will lock themselves up behind our borders. Once your toe is in the water, you have no choice but to get wet. How wet, for how long, is what we discuss as part of politics.

I do think your "Secret Cabal" approach to politics will lead you astray. I accept, as my primary outlook on politics, that everyone is pursuing their own happiness.
