Right. The failure of non-violent solutions to problems, is almost always due to the lack of discipline of those attempting the non-violent solution. As I said, an embargo, in order to be effective, would have to be airtight, complete, and carried out till it got results (years, that is). If we want to create a non-violent world, we are going to have to become far more self-disciplined than we are now. Maybe after Hezbollah detonates a nuke in Haifa, and Al Queda detonates a nuke in Los Angeles, we will be sufficiently motivated, to achieve that level of self-discipline.

But first, before we try Gandhi's methods, we will try everything else.
