Sam, >a simple but final solution to this "forgery" problem.< How can there be a solution? To use your e-mail account you send messages out and they contain your address. Someone obtains your address and uses it illegally. Think of someone using your home address for the same purpose with snail mail. You can't stop it. ISP policy is the key. They should limit # of messages users can send in a day AND refuse to send messages not containing the true sender's return address. Some ISPs do. Gottfried
