Exactly - you can move the VoIP phones anywhere you want, so keeping the same number after a move is no problem. You can have multiple numbers in different area codes ring the same phone, so you can be a local call in several places. 800-numbers are available. You can have the call forwarded to your cell after a certain number of rings. Very handy. The voice quality is pretty good, tho not the very best.
