They've been called eggheads, yuppies, Volvo voters, limousine liberals, NPR voters, the new class, the brie-and-Chablis crowd, and most recently, "Bobos"


I loved the label, "Birkinstock Liberals," that the "Times" came up with. We are a long way from the Southern Primaries yet. The party knows they can't afford to have a candidate that turns off the blue collar voters. They are the people with the sons and daughters in the service who are getting letters from their kids in the ME that differ from what the media is putting out. They will not sell out these kids.

It looks like Dean will be number one or two in Iowa and New Hampshire. We will then see what the South does to him. If the "Bandwagon" gets him the nomination, the only problem beating him will be if Iraq gets worse, or the Repubs get overconfident. The economy no longer looks like it will tank.
