You paint the options in the starkest alternative for yourself.

I do think you underestimate the seriousness of a coercive superior-subordinate relationship which can, in cases, go on for years instead of being over after a single date. Neither is acceptable. But also, it is sometimes hard to say which has the more serious long term trama consequences for the woman (or in unusual cases the man) who is the victim.
