One man's government price controls are another man's "purchasing power".

Like when Maine decided to collaborate on drug prices and the republicans had a fit. Nothing anti-capitalist in that, a bunch of people simply got together to collaborate on pricing, no different than what b2b software does which I sell. Drug companies can choose to participate in the auction, or they can opt out, nobody is *forcing* them to sell to Canada or Maine.

To repeat, there is *no difference* between allowing Canada to sell drugs in the US and allowing US companies to import foreign labor. You either support none or both in principle. It is obvious that the Bush cronies are beholden to the drug companies and for that, the US taxpayer will pay. Not for long though.
