Rick, you left out the other amassing information from the abc article. The 30-year old electronics company recently revamped operations to concentrate on offering TV-based Internet access. I did not realize that the Custer had owned this company for so long. Currently, about 60 percent of Curtis Mathes' business is made up of set-top boxes and its proprietary Xpressway online service. How about 100%! Already its UniView set-top boxes are selling at Brandsmart in Miami, Communication Expo in Dallas and Fry's in Northern California. This means I will drive 200 miles tomorrow to Miami. Hope they still have the uniViews in stock at BrandsMart by the time I get there.
