I'd rather have fools gold. At least you can sell that. Whats social security worth to the other generations that got in on the pyramid chain letter social security scam first? The funny thing is while they want increased benefits without any regard to what they paid in the first place, while also during their working years and were paying in paid a tax rate that was a joke compared to today...they have no room to gripe. Current generations will get the big goose egg. The Fed will tell us the rules have changed. If you have a big 401k and don't need it, you dont get anything. Or, Social Security was never suppossed to give u your money back it was more of an insurance premium program...all friggin lies compared to the contract I read.
