gottfried i just saw this... did you know that there is an option to "create MS DOS start up disk" in winxp? i found it while formatting these floppies to recreate the KAV rescue set clickstream right-click start \| explorer \| right-click floppy (A) \| select format the last format option will be Create an MS DOS startup disk i haven't tried it yet
