Hi Michal,

While the article you linked to was largely about the Dunkin' Doughnuts versus Krispy Kreme battle, there is yet another upstart player on the doughnut gridiron, Tim Horton's.

TH is out of Canada, and has every bit of the fanatical loyal following that KKD lays claim to.

In head-to-head-to-head "competitions", KKD beat out TH and DD, but in fairness, the "competitions" were in KKD country. I suspect that any "competitions" held in Canada or perhaps in Boston might have entirely differing results.

I have tasted KKD many times, and DD many times more than that, and I prefer KKD. I've never had the luxury of tasting TH, but know of people who swear by TH. I think that whichever doughnut is perceived as "best" will ultimately come down to personal preferences. They all taste good, they all go good with a nice hot coffee, and they'll all keep the cardiologists fully employed for years to come...

BTW, Tim Horton's is also expanding in North America, so it shouldn't be too long before we can conduct our own taste tests wherever we may live...
