They said almost erased. I just saw the footage on CNN of President Bush being told by Andrew Card at Booker T. Washington Grammar School that a 2nd plane had hit the WTC. I can confirm that the President showed no remorse, no shock and asked no spontaneous questions. Rather odd considering the unprecedented events that were unfolding that day?!? You'd think he would have looked a bit shocked and at least ask a spontaneous question or two regarding the status of the situation in New York and if any other planes had been hijacked. He just nodded his head, as if being given a sports score or something routine like a lunch time, and continued with the school children.

I dunno.... Actions speak louder than words. If I was to pass judgement based solely on his actions that fateful day, I'd say he had some foreknowledge of what was occuring. Why the Commander in Chief wouldn't rush out of the room for his own safety and to coordinate our response and relief efforts is quite strange?!? I mean, events like 9/11/01 don't happen every day. But, the way the President reacted was very methodical and unimpressive, like an ordinary reaction to an unimportant and every day event.
