I never thought I'd see the day when Europe dropped their support for these thugs.

The EU already recognizes the AQ threat.

Yet this is potentially a very meaningful move. It is certainly a very strong political move to support the GWB war on terror and potentially a final death warrant for Hamas. The EU finally recognizes that our intel agencies got it right when they identified the world's terror orgs.

EU has finally taken sides in this part of the ME conflict. They are now on record as opposing Hamas. To be meaningful, they will now have to back it up with action. Hopefully they will continue to follow our lead and use political, financial and military action to oppose Hamas' reign of terror.

Now, if we can get them to recognize the threat posed by Hezbollah, the world can really make progress.

There are lots of other terrorist orgs...but these two are our biggest current threats.

I see it too as clearing the road for continued Israeli military action against Hamas. This stance should end Western European objections to Israeli use of force to defend themselves against continued Hamas terrorist attacks.
We may even see some EU countries now providing Israel with arms.
That would be something. Can you imagine Germany's GSG-9 or KSK providing weapons and anti-terror training to Israeli units?
