I can't figure out if the 4th ID is getting all the action because they are in the Sunni/Baghdad area, or if the Marines and the Airborne/Cav are doing a better job of warding it off. Probably a combination of both. The 4th is our most technically advanced unit. They have all the latest toys. Some of their units are deploying with SF every night to react to the latest Intel. They are the first responders. And yes, they are seeing action everyday and everynight. I have a request from a 4th ID combat unit for baseballs, softballs and gloves. Gathering some up now. Could use more gloves. I am going to put a request out later today. uw
