The TVA was a Roosevelt inspired plan to put men to work at the governments expense..aka the American taxpayer dollars, and it's never changed...except through the years, they take even more of our money.
We need to go into Alaska (the frozen tundra) and look for oil, so we are not dependent on foreign oil. There may be alternative forms of electricity, but right now we rely on primarily natural gas, and coal to run our plants. Natural gas is an offshoot of drilling for oil...
The environmentalists want more electricity to heat and cool their homes, light their houses, run their businesses..etc..but they don't want us to drill in Alaska..
We don't need another New Deal, out of that also came Social Security, and thievery of the American taxpayers money, in the greatest give away ever invented!
