On 9/12/01, we had an enemy (extreme Islam fundamentalists), and lots of friends (Europe, etc.) and willing cooperators (Syria, etc) in our War on Terror. Now, almost two years later, many of the friends are disaffected, the willing cooperators are surly, and the “enemy” has become Islam – including the moderates. Tonight, consider this is the path we’re on, when the Selected One calls for “staying the course”.
