Southern Research Institute Selects Documentum Enterprise Content Management Platform

today announced that the Southern Research Institute, a Birmingham, Ala.-based
scientific research group, has selected Documentum 5, the latest version of the
Documentum ECM platform. Southern Research is deploying Documentum to create,
manage, deliver and archive enterprise content to ensure compliance with the
FDA's prescribed regulatory requirements for electronic records and signatures
(21 CFR Part 11) as well as other requirements for electronic submissions of New
Drug Applications (NDAs) and record keeping required for compliance with good
