The Asian shorters are (Trying To Do) doing a number on Zinc as per a Canada-Stockwatch News I saw, I'll try to find:
Westmin Resources Ltd - Is the company it is under with todays' date.
Van Sun/Bloomberg say Chinese shorts drive prices up
Refer Cominco Ltd (CLT) In the News The Vancouver Sun in a joint Bloomberg article in its Tuesday edition that prices for zinc climbed for the ninth straight day on Monday, reaching the highest level since July 1990, as stockpiles plunged and Chinese smelters that bet against a price rise watched as "could be" trading losses mount. (for the futur but it implies NOW) Chinese smelters shorted 250,000 tons of Zinc that caused the situation or will cause the price to go down in the future!
Does anyone really understand how a shorter can make a price GO UP??? Or Down, it is the future that it affects but why is it affecting the present? I think it is the opposite- reaction thing, opinions greatfully accepted! Will Chinese smelters be up the creek? Kul De Kayak up the Creek( I don't think so)(FinlaysonLake gots 3 other main elements as well as Zinc)!
