4 major bombings in a month...assassinations...dead and wounded US soldiers on a consistent basis...local militias springing up like weeds... the militias have been ordered to disarm by this weekend...a showdown is inevitable in Sadr City and elsewhere. Sunni/Shiite animosity on the rise. "Yankee go home" sentiment throughout. Ok...saddam's not in power anymore...yippee. But...nobody is in power there. and shrub once again has that "deer caught in the headlights" look.
