September Media Test Schedule Set for Senetek's Kinetin Plus Infomercial; Senetek Targets Launch of Kintein Plus(TM) Interactive Website For September 18

NAPA, Calif., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Senetek PLC (Nasdaq: SNTK - News), www.senetekplc.com , a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and marketing products that meet under-met consumer needs for aging well, today announced it has finalized the long form media test schedule for its newly created program-length infomercial for Kinetin Plus(TM), Senetek's new skincare regimen featuring unique formulations of its patented Kinetin cytokinin and Kinetin combination formulations with other highly effective ingredients, many of them proprietary. The program features noted skincare specialist Jessica Anawalt and interviews with the Ph.D. co-discoverers of Kinetin's remarkable anti-aging effects, who discuss the science behind skin wellness and the proven benefits of Kinetin use. Viewers will be offered a specially-priced four-product assortment with additional purchase opportunities. One percent of all proceeds of infomercial sales are being donated by Senetek to the Skin Cancer Foundation.

The test schedule, developed for Senetek by Zephyr Media Group, the media agency for such successful infomercial campaigns as Sharper Image®, calls for placements beginning September 11 and running through September 23 on a mix of national cable networks including ABC Family, A&E, Discovery, Food, Life, Oxygen and Women's Entertainment. The time slots selected, which are primarily late night and early morning, are designed to maximize feedback about the program's effectiveness with a wide range of viewers based on repeat viewership at a manageable cost. Based on analysis of the data generated and information learned, any indicated program refinements will be executed prior to full national roll-out of the infomercial.

Senetek also announced a September 18 scheduled launch date for its www.kinetin.com , interactive website for direct consumer purchases of the full Kinetin Plus line. The website will bring consumers the full Kinetin story, including clinical studies conducted at a prestigious medical institution's dermatology department along with unretouched scientific photographs of 48-week study results. This highly user-friendly and secure site includes the ability to enroll in the Kinetin Plus "Looking Good Feels Good" continuity program. The site will offer all eight Kinetin Plus products: Chest & Neck Treatment Lotion, Eye Area Eraser Plus Vitamin C & E Booster, Gentle Foaming Cleanser, Intense Serum Plus 10% Vitamin C Booster, Night Renewal Cream, Refresh Finishing Toner, Smoothing Lip Balm SPF 20, and Sun Protection Lotion SPF 15 (the latter two bearing the Skin Cancer Foundation Seal).
