There are several fallacies here: Fallacy #1) "The tax cut was paid by borrowing money". Truth: Money was borrowed because spending exceeding income. Spending could have been cut to avoid additional borrowing, but the government chose not to do so. Fallacy #2) "I will eventually need to pay that money back". Truth: "I" am not the "federal government". "I" did not borrow anything.
